----------------------------------------------------
if the braile font isnt displaying properly, you may need to install a braile font
----------------------------------------------------

⠥⠲⠷⠆ ⠷⠬ ⠧⠧

"sitelen leko lili"

each of the blocks are called "leko"

a few other small things:

⠹⠧⠽ palisa - the line at the bottom of 'sitelen' is to combine 'site' and 'len' into a single word; it should be at the end of the syllable (one down if prev leko ends on 'n'). it can also just be a dot in between leko.

also note that the full syllable 'len' is a leko instead of just 'sitele' 'n'

⠝⠮ suno (optional for readability) - a dot on central top of leko means they start in vowels.

⠐⠨⠱⠆ open - Names start with a leko in a T shape, 1px down

⠡⠦ pini - sentences & Names end with a leko of a centered 2 px line, 2 px down

example text (todo)

it can be turned sideways and transcribed into braile:

⠥⠲⠷⠆ ⠷⠬ ⠝⠧

pros and cons

pros (reasons to use!)

follows pona philosophy of simplicity

already supported fonts w/ braile, plus that makes it accessible for blind

tiny: 2 leko fit in 8x8px

looks cool and futuristic arguably

could make keyboard with 10 keys which i'd like to see

cons (stuff to fix)

not physically writable
> could prob changed for a written version "⠥⠲⠷⠆ ⠷⠬ ⠟⠼"...here's a start: handwritten braile (but doesnt have all characters)

may confuse alignment of characters
> tried to fix with ⠐ (suno) but what do u think? (⠐⠠⠴ vs ⠤⠆)

everything being dots is confusing?
> i think after some time we get used to shapes of words or sentences?

someone has to make software to write in it

any more u can think of?

"sitelen leko nasa"

another random idea i had idk if anyone thought of:

since tokipona has under 256 words u could make a (probably illegable/very difficult to learn) "logographic" script thats just 8 pixels, numbered in binary in some order of the words (probably creation date so it's easy to add new words)

this can be represented by 8 dot braile ... so someone else can make that bc i dont feel like it :p

the thought process of making this if anyone's interested
