i wanted to make my own conlang based on a minimal script (essentially this without the w/j and other small things), but meh it's too ambitious to create an entire conlang from scratch and i keep procrastinating on doing it anyway
i remember having found toki pona in the past but didnt really care to learn it... however upon refinding it when making this script i decided i should try learning it since it seems interesting and similar to what i wanted to do anyway...
so i started learning a bit ago and i adapted it for tokipona... also later i realized it can also be represented through braile which is even more epic

main goal for this script:
as small as possible but readable.
i think this is an syllabary? ...
6 pixels gives 2^6=64 options for syllables, enough for tokipona's ~50 syllables (with 'n' seperate)
vowels and consonants alternating helps w predicablity, and 5 vowels is within 2^3, so they're on their own line of 3px
also for readability, i chose based on frequency for the script to be left as much as possible, so only 'u' (least common vowel) isn't left
the other 3px line 2^3=8 isn't enough for the 10 consonants (including empty for vowels)
so i chose 'j-' and 'w-' to be weird consonants (with vowels on the first line instead of second) bc theyre least common
'empty' at beginning of words might be less common than j or w so one of those could be swapped maybe, or some consonants shuffled around?
but also idk about having empty spaces in the middle of words for readablity
